A grand 19th-century bathhouse in the spa town of Baden-Baden where visitors move through a 17-stage Roman-Irish ritual of hot air, steam, thermal pools and cold water. Bathing is traditionally without swimwear on most days, while Wednesdays and Saturdays require swimwear. Minimum age is 14, and under-18s must be accompanied.
